The Aberlady Flock has three bits of exciting news to start 2026.
Firstly, we are now a charity (SCIO) and will soon be looking for a range of new volunteering roles to support the project going forwards, from fundraisers to practical skills.
Secondly, we will also soon have our first meat boxes available for purchase, with delicious meat which will also support future biodiversity and education initiatives. Sheepskin and fibre products will soon follow.
Thirdly, we are launching a new regular hands on session from 2pm on the second Sunday of the month starting in February. These sessions will be turn up on the day, with a range of jobs and some light refreshments.
